Template - A template is a ready made structure which can be edited to your needs. There are many types of templates ranging in price and quality.
Web Templates / Website Templates - Ready made website templates created to faciliate the production of websites. Web templates come in different types and designs. Some web templates are created in HTML, some in Flash, some are made using CSS.
HTML Templates - These are templates made in HTML (Hyper Text Markup Language).
Flash Templates - Templates made using Macromedia Flash. You will need Macromedia Flash to edit them.
CSS Templates - Templates using CSS (Cascading Style Sheet) can be very interesting to work with. CSS can be very powerfull and allows you to achieve great looking websites without using HTML tables.
Dreamweaver Templates - These templates are used and edited by Macromedia Dreamweaver. You can use any editor to edit them, but doing so will limit some functionality.
Resume Templates - Used to assist you to create your resume.
Power Point Templates - Create PowerPoint presentations based on Power Point templates.
Web Design - Design and Architecture of a website.
Web Hosting - The online location where a website is stored.
Website - Collection of web pages linked with each other and optionally to images, video or sound.
Web Page - A document created with HTML and can optionally contain other formats such as Flash, Video or Sound.
Domain - A name in the format http://www.yourwebsitename.com which connects to a specific website. Modern browsers and websites can be reached by just typing yourwebsitename.com
AJAX - (Asynchronous JavaScript and XML) A combination of web technologies to achive better surfing experience.
XML - (Extensible Markup Language) A way of presenting web pages with your own custom HTML Tags. XML is mainly used to communicate between applications.
XHTML - (Extensible Hypertext Markup Language) A markup language written in XML.
